この度、第10回日本循環器学会基礎研究フォーラム（BCVR）と第43回国際心臓研究学会（ISHR）日本部会を、BCVR/ISHR 2026として合同開催する運びとなりました。会期は、2026年10月13日（土）・14日（日）の2日間、福島県郡山市のホテルハマツにて開催いたします。

BCVR/ISHR 2026の統一テーマは、「日本から拓く循環器サイエンスフロンティア」です。循環器医療は目覚ましい進歩を遂げていますが、この根幹には、多くの基礎研究の弛まぬ努力と成果に支えられています。一方で、近年、日本の科学研究力の低下が指摘されており、今こそ、日本全体が一丸となり、新たな科学的潮流を創出し、循環器科学の国際的な存在感を高めていくことが重要です。

本学会は、この使命を果たすための重要なプラットフォームです。循環器研究の基礎から臨床応用に至るまで、幅広い分野の研究者が一堂に会し、多領域にまたがる交流を通じて、活発な議論と新たな連携を促進する場といたします。日本発の新しい科学的発見や技術が、次世代の循環器医療を切り拓く原動力となることを期待しています。

現在、オリジナリティあふれるシンポジウムを企画しており、幅広い演題を募集しております。ぜひとも奮ってご応募くださいますようお願い申し上げます。

We are delighted to announce that the 10th JCS Council Forum on Basic Cardiovascular Research (BCVR) and the 43rd Annual Meeting of the International Society for Heart Research (ISHR) Japanese Section will be jointly held as BCVR/ISHR 2026. The meeting will take place on October 13 and 14, 2026, at Hotel Hamatsu in Koriyama, Fukushima, Japan.

The theme of BCVR/ISHR 2026 is “Advancing the Frontier of Cardiovascular Science from Japan.” Cardiovascular medicine has made remarkable advances, but this progress is profoundly rooted in the outcomes of extensive basic research. In recent years, however, concerns have been raised regarding the decline of Japanese scientific research capacity. Now more than ever, it is essential to generate new scientific momentum originating nationwide and to enhance a significant international presence in cardiovascular science.

This joint meeting is designed as a vital platform for achieving this mission. This meeting will bring together researchers across a broad range of fields—from basic cardiovascular research to clinical applications— and aims to foster active discussion and promote new collaborations through cross-disciplinary exchange. We hope that scientific discoveries and technologies emerging from Japan will serve as a driving force that shapes the next generation of cardiovascular medicine.

We are preparing a variety of original and exciting symposia, and we warmly invite you to submit your abstracts and join us for this special occasion.
